PACE Care is excited to announce that Cootamundra Health Care Cooperative has recently joined as an Associate Member, extending PACE’s reach to southern New South Wales.
The organisation is a fully accredited not for profit aged care provider nestled in the south-west slopes of NSW. Comprised of both a 61-bed high care nursing home and a 25-unit independent living community, Cootamundra Health Care Cooperative boasts a strong team of professional caregivers who work tirelessly to ensure residents are happy, comfortable, and supported.
Their team is delighted to be welcomed as an Associate Member of the PACE Care Group.
“We are committed to growing our reputation as not only a carer of choice in the Cootamundra region, but also an employer of choice within our community,” said Jim Main, Chair of the Cootamundra Health Cooperative Board.
“I am confident that our new partnership is a positive next step toward solidifying this vision.
“As an independent, not for profit aged care provider, we are already beginning to see the positive benefits of the PACE model through streamlined administrative processes and improved operational efficiency.
“We look forward to collaborating with other PACE members to exchange best practices and ideas so that collectively, we can offer the best level of care to our respective communities,” he added.
With Australia’s rapidly ageing population high on the national agenda, PACE aims to unite a number of aged-care providers across the state to redefine best practices within the highly-competitive aged care sector.
“Our unique shared services model allows organisations to share resources, training, development and administration, as well as opportunities for CEO and support service networking, introducing innovation in care and support, and increased career pathways for talented employees, all helping to deliver significant operational and financial benefits,” said PACE Group’s General Manager, Greg Worrall.
“We strongly believe that we’re onto a winning formula and are committed to see PACE extend its reach across the industry to assist community-based independent not-for-profit organisations” he continued.
Having officially launched in March 2016, PACE Care members employ more than 900 staff and provide accommodation for close to 1,400 older people across the broader Central Coast region and South-Western NSW.
